How do we extend architectural tectonics, the expressive qualities of materials in architecture, into the landscape? Using TEXTILEscape, students scale up the initials and explore how to ‘weave’ it around the tree - how the interweaving might connect with nearby teammates and create an interwoven system of 2x4 wood and trees.
