A VISUAL LEXICON

Extending the study of urban health, this assignment explores modalities of human behavior in public spaces. As students investigate and accommodate diverse pedestrianization, in consideration of SHADEscape, they craft a VISUAL LEXICON illustrating a more accurate measurement of pedestrian mobility. Considering varying transport modes in multiple contexts, developing a scaled ‘design-construction grammar’ of behavioral characteristics in urban infrastructure.
